Residents of a quiet estate in Embu were woken up by screams and confusion in the middle of the night. What many first thought was a fight quickly turned into something far stranger.
Two men who were allegedly trying to steal a parked car were found stuck near it, shouting uncontrollably and behaving in a disturbing manner that shocked everyone who rushed outside.
According to witnesses, the car alarm never went off. Instead, strange noises and incoherent shouting filled the compound. When neighbours came closer, they found the suspected thieves unable to move away from the vehicle.
One was circling the car repeatedly, while the other sat on the ground crying and laughing at the same time. Attempts to help them stand or walk were unsuccessful.
The car owner was alerted and arrived at the scene in disbelief. He confirmed that the vehicle had been targeted several times before, with mirrors and accessories stolen in the past. This time, however, nothing was taken.
The suspects appeared completely disoriented, as if they didn’t recognize where they were or what they were doing. As the situation escalated, locals restrained the men to prevent harm while waiting for authorities.
