Growing up, my dreams were bigger than the reality that surrounded me. In a small village where most people were satisfied with a simple life, I wanted more. I wanted to start my own business, educate myself beyond what the local school could offer, and one day, create opportunities not just for me, but for others too.
But instead of encouragement, I was met with laughter. Relatives, neighbours, and even some teachers called my ambitions foolish. “Why aim so high?” they said. “Stay where you belong.” Their words were heavy, but my desire to succeed was heavier.
At first, I tried to prove myself quietly. I saved every coin I could, experimented with small ventures, and studied whenever I found free time. But nothing seemed to work.
