I moved into the house with my wife Janet Otieno and our daughter Sheila after getting a new job in Westlands. The house looked perfect—quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors, and affordable rent. One night, things escalated. At exactly 3 a.m., the bedroom door slowly opened by itself. There was no wind. The lights flickered, and the room suddenly felt cold. My heart was beating fast. I jumped out of bed and switched on the lights. Nothing was there. Janet was shaking, and Sheila was crying uncontrollably. That was the night I knew something was seriously wrong in that house.
