Single Mother From Kibera Stuns Neighbours After Building a Mansion Months After Everyone Mocked Her Hustle. Says God Finally Answered Her Tears. Any Word for Her?

When people in Kibera saw the tall gate rise where a small mabati house once stood, many rubbed their eyes in disbelief. Some thought they were dreaming. Others whispered, “Haiwezekani.” But it was real. A woman they once laughed at had done the impossible.
Her name is Achieng’ Otieno, a single mother of three who once struggled just to put ugali on the table. Today, she is the owner of a beautiful mansion that has left her entire neighborhood in shock.
What shocked people even more was how fast everything changed.
Just months ago, Achieng’ was selling boiled eggs and smokies by the roadside. Rain or sunshine, she stood there with her small trolley, hoping to make at least KSh 300 a day. Some days she went home with nothing. Other days, she slept hungry so her children could eat.
“I used to cry every night,” she said with tears in her eyes. “I asked God why my life was so painful. I felt forgotten.”
