My name is Buda, and I always believed that love could overcome any challenge. My wife, Amina, and I had been together for over ten years. We had built a modest life in Kisumu, sharing the joys and struggles of raising two children, managing our small business, and supporting each other through thick and thin. Amina had applied for a government position for years without success. When she finally secured a well-paying administrative job in Nairobi, we celebrated as a family.
