My Wedding Ring Started Burning My Finger at Night A Marriage Cursed Before Vows Were Even Said.

The first night it happened, I thought I was dreaming. I woke up suddenly, my heart racing, my left hand pressed against my chest. There was a sharp, searing heat on my ring finger, as if I had touched live metal. I flung the covers off and stared at my wedding ring, confused and half asleep.
It looked normal golden, smooth, innocent. But my skin felt raw and throbbing. I was barely two weeks into my engagement. We hadn’t even set a wedding date yet, and yet something felt wrong from the moment he slipped that ring onto my finger. Everyone said I was lucky.
He was generous, respected, and came from a family people whispered about with admiration. Still, my spirit refused to settle. I ignored that feeling, telling myself love was supposed to be uncomfortable at first. But the burning didn’t stop.
Every night, around the same hour, I would wake up sweating, my finger on fire. By morning, the pain would fade, leaving behind slight redness that doctors dismissed as an allergy. I changed soaps, lotions, even bedding. Nothing helped.
One night, I removed the ring before sleeping and slept peacefully for the first time in days. When I wore it again the following night, the burning returned with vengeance. That’s when other things began to unravel.
My fiancé grew distant and irritable. Small disagreements turned explosive. I started having vivid, disturbing dreams where I was trapped, voiceless, watching my life slip away. Friends who once celebrated our union suddenly avoided my calls.
