I remember clearly the afternoon my uncle called me into his house and showed me his will. He was sick but mentally sharp, and he wanted everything to be clear. He pointed at my name and explained what I would inherit. A small piece of land and part of his rental income. He told me it was because I had stood by him when others disappeared.
