Every Night at 2:11 A.M., Someone Knocked on My Door When I Finally Opened It, My Life Unraveled

It started quietly, almost like a joke my tired mind was playing on me. Every night, exactly at 2:11 A.M., there was a knock on my door. Not loud. Not aggressive. Just three slow knocks that were strong enough to wake me fully. I lived alone, and at first I thought it was drunk neighbors or children passing by.
After the first week, fear set in. I checked through the window every time, but no one was ever there. The street was empty, silent, and still. I stopped sleeping properly. My job performance dropped. I became jumpy, angry, and confused.
Friends told me I was imagining things, but the knocks never failed to come. By the third week, strange things followed. My phone would switch off at 2:11 A.M. My dog refused to sleep near the door.
I started dreaming of my late father, standing outside my house but never speaking. One night, out of exhaustion and frustration, I decided I would open the door when the knock came.
