Residents of Webuye were left shocked after a dramatic incident unfolded when a man accused of stealing iron sheets reportedly began eating grass in public. The bizarre behavior left onlookers confused, frightened, and debating what could have caused such an act.
According to witnesses, the man was intercepted by locals who suspected him of stealing building materials from a nearby construction site.
As the crowd confronted him, he suddenly dropped to the ground and started plucking and chewing grass, ignoring the shouting and panic around him. Some claimed he seemed “possessed” or “not in his right mind.”
