I Was Haunted by Nightmares and Couldn’t Sleep, Until I Found a Way to Protect Myself

For a long time, sleep stopped being a place of rest for me. Every night, I was chased by the same terrifying dreams. I would wake up sweating, breathing fast, and afraid to close my eyes again. At first, I told myself it was stress.

But as days passed, the nightmares became more frequent and more intense. My days were just as bad. I felt tired all the time. My mood changed. I became irritable and withdrawn, even around people I loved.

I started fearing nightfall because I knew what awaited me. No matter how early I went to bed, I would still wake up exhausted, as if I had been fighting battles all night.

I tried everything I could think of. I reduced screen time, changed my diet, and even tried herbal teas before bed. Nothing worked. The dreams continued, and in some cases, they felt so real that I would wake up screaming.
