Pastor Daniel of Grace Ministries Nairobi has shared a deeply personal story about his childhood and the challenges he faced growing up. Speaking about his past, he explains that life was far from easy despite what many people might think.
“I know many think I was born into a rich family,” Pastor Daniel says, “but we went through a lot. My sister, my brother, and I—especially my brother who passed away during the COVID-19 pandemic—experienced many difficulties.”
Pastor Daniel reveals that one of the major turning points in his life came in 2004, when he was in Class 5. His father became addicted to alcohol, and the family’s life changed drastically.
“I remember, my father did not use to drink alcohol,” he recalls. “But at that time, he started drinking heavily after being influenced to take over my grandfather’s wealth. My father’s elder brother was very wealthy, and used all the resources to kill my father not to think about their late father’s inheritance, he went to a wichdoctor and was given charms by witchdoctors to confuse my dad and make his life useless.
