New reports have emerged regarding Margaret Nduta’s case after nearly a year

Margret Nduta remains in prison in Vietnam, where she is serving a life sentence. However, her life is no longer under immediate threat of execution a development that has brought slight relief to her family and supporters.

Her family has confirmed that she is still in Vietnam and that they have never spoken to her directly since her arrest. According to them, the matter is now in the hands of the government, but any visible progress appears to have stalled.

They say they were informed that Nduta was not executed, but beyond that assurance, communication has remained limited and unclear, leaving them with more questions than answers.

Her sister revealed that the prolonged silence and uncertainty have taken a heavy emotional toll on their mother, who has since developed high blood pressure and is currently on medication.

Whenever their mother remembers her daughter’s situation, she breaks down in tears, overwhelmed by the pain of separation and the lack of clear updates.

It has now been almost a year of waiting, hoping, and praying for a breakthrough that could finally bring clarity to the family.

There remains a possibility in the future for presidential clemency or even a transfer for Nduta to serve her sentence in Kenya, but for now, the family continues to live in anguish while holding on to faith and hope for better news.
