“Wedding Halted!” Bride Collapses After Shocking Phone Call at the Altar

The church was full.
Guests were dressed in their best outfits. Cameras were ready. The choir had just finished singing. Brian stood confidently at the altar, smiling as his bride, Anita, walked slowly toward him in a beautiful white gown.
It was meant to be the happiest day of her life.
Then her phone rang.
At first, she ignored it. But it rang again. And again.
Whispers started spreading across the church. The maid of honour leaned closer and whispered, “Maybe it is important.”
Anita hesitated, then stepped aside and answered.
What she heard on the other end made her face lose colour instantly.
Within seconds, her hands started shaking. The phone slipped. And before anyone could react, she collapsed right there in her wedding dress.
Screams filled the church.
The secret that almost destroyed everything
Paramedics were called immediately. Guests stood outside in confusion. Some were crying. Others were already gossiping.
Inside a small church office, Anita slowly regained consciousness.
The shocking call had come from a woman claiming to have been in a relationship with Brian for the past year. The woman sent photos, messages, and even screenshots of recent Mpesa transfers as proof.
The worst part?
The last message between Brian and the woman had been sent just two nights before the wedding.
Anita felt betrayed. Humiliated. Angry.
When confronted, Brian first denied everything. But when shown the screenshots, he could not defend himself.
Family members began arguing. Some demanded the wedding be cancelled immediately. Others urged Anita to calm down and think carefully.
The tension was unbearable.
The cake was already delivered. The reception hall was fully paid. Hundreds of guests were waiting for answers.
Anita locked herself in a room and cried for nearly an hour.
“I cannot marry a man who lies,” she said through tears.
Divorce was not even necessary yet. The wedding had not happened. But the emotional damage was already severe.
One elder present at the church suggested postponing everything and seeking guidance before making a final decision.
