Mimi niliteseka, lakini nilichokifanya leo hii Brian amebadilika

I never thought my life would turn out like this. At 26, I was already a mother, but I felt alone. I had trusted a man called Brian. I loved him and believed he would take care of me and our baby.
When I told Brian I was pregnant, he was happy. He said, “Don’t worry. I will stand with you. We will raise our child together.” I believed every word. I defended him when people warned me about him. I thought love was enough.
But after some months, Brian changed. He started coming home late. Sometimes he did not come home at all. He stopped giving money for food and baby things. When I asked him, he became angry.
One night, he came home drunk. We argued. He beat me badly and told me to leave his house. I cried and begged him to think about our baby, but he did not care. I packed a few clothes and left with my child.
For seven months, Brian disappeared. He changed his phone number. He moved to another place. Some people said he had traveled to another country, but it was all lies. During that time, I struggled alone. I had no money. I felt ashamed and heartbroken. Many nights I cried while my baby slept.
