The fire reportedly stated at 5:20am on Saturday 24th May engulfing several homes in the densely populated neighborhood of Kibra.
As per reports from relevant authorities, at least eight people have been confirmed dead in a devastating fire incident that broke up early in the morning.
The exact cause of the fire is still unknown upto now, according to the Kibra sub county police commander Patricia Yegon noted that the identity of the victim is still also unknown.
However the bodies have been moved to city mortuary pending identification and postmortem examination
Authorities have launched investigation into the exact cause of the tragic blaze.
Kenyan have experienced mixed their deepest condolences to the affected families and have the authorities are highly preferred for such incidences to minimise severe loss if it happens in the future.
Kibra is prone to fire outbreaks due to its dense population and for a long time the cause of such fire outbreaks have never been established, despite the authorities carrying out investigation.
