The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) has officially announced its highly anticipated nationwide recruitment exercise for the year 2025. The initiative is calling upon skilled professionals, graduates, and dedicated individuals aspiring to serve in its various ranks, offering a chance to contribute to national security and development.

Scheduled to take place across the country in October 2025, the recruitment targets several key roles, including General Service Officer (GSO) Cadets, Specialist Officers, and Tradesmen/women. The drive particularly emphasizes the need for expertise in specialized fields such as Education, Engineering, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Mass Communication, Legal services, and Supply Chain Management.

In a recent statement, the KDF highlighted the significance of the opportunity, noting, “The recruitment period offers a unique opportunity to serve your country in a vital, supportive capacity.”

This recruitment drive not only strengthens the nation’s defence capabilities but also provides a structured career path for professionals across various sectors, aligning with broader national development goals.
