“One Step at a Time”: Saboti MP Caleb Amisi Opens Modern 12- Classroom Block at Lukhuna Primary

On a bright day in Tuwani Ward, the area Member of Parliament Hon. Caleb Amisi officially commissioned a brand new 12-classroom storey block at Lukhuna Primary School. The event marked a big moment for pupils, teachers, and parents who have waited a long time for better learning facilities.

The old classrooms were crowded. In some cases, children sat on the floor or squeezed three to a desk. But that story is now ending. The new building is modern, spacious, and built to give every child a dignified place to learn. It will accommodate the school’s growing population and help teachers do their jobs more effectively.

Hon. Amisi, known for his “Vijana Power” spirit, shared his excitement on social media. He wrote, “Another school, another storey building. One step at a time we shall reach there.” reminding everyone that development is steady work.

The MP believes Kenya needs a renaissance, a rebirth in how education is delivered. And for him, that change starts with projects just like this one.

Parents at the event could not hide their joy. One mother said, “Now our children will not learn in broken classrooms. We are grateful.”
