After being out of TV screens for over a decade now, the popular show MTV Shuga Mashariki is now finally back!
The two episodes of the first season have already been aired and the show is running heads with compelling storylines and an ensemble of talented actors who make up the the main act.
Their is also a mix of fresh faces and talented professionals who have had hands in the game including Sarah Wanjiru who is playing the role of Nyokabi.
Basil Mungai playing a role of salvation, Matthew Ngungi playing a role as Eric among other veteran actors.
The show is part of five years mass media program established in 2024 with the intention of challenging norms that perpetuate gender inequality in Kenya known us surround sound Kenya.
The show also includes three accomplished Kenyan directors including Likarion Wainaina, June Ndinya, Mkaiwawi Mwakaba.
The show airs weekly on three different platforms on different days, Wednesday on Citizen Tv at 11 pm, BET Africa on Tuesday at 9 pm and on the official You tube channel MTV Shuga with episodes dropping every Wednesday at 8 pm.
