My Child Started Drawing Graves With Our Names on Them The Message Was Meant for Me

It began quietly, in a way I almost ignored. My eight-year-old son had always loved drawing, so seeing papers scattered on the floor was nothing new. But one evening, as I gathered his notebooks, I froze. On one page were small crosses.

On another, shapes that looked like graves. Then I saw the writing. My name. His name. His father’s name. All written carefully beneath the drawings.
At first, I thought it was something he had seen on television. I asked gently where he got the idea.

He looked at me with a seriousness that did not match his age and said, “They told me to draw it so you would understand.” My heart began to race. Who were “they”? He refused to say more and that night he cried in his sleep for hours.
From that week, things changed in our home.

My son became withdrawn. He avoided certain rooms and refused to sleep alone. I also started feeling heavy, constantly tired, and anxious for no clear reason. That was when fear replaced doubt. I knew something was wrong beyond behavior or imagination.
